Role in the project: To prepare and separate selected chiral 1,2-aminoalcohol analogues under
supervision
Requirements:
-have completed their B.Sc. or equivalent engineering degree in chemistry, with focus on organic chemistry.
-have signed for Master studies in the field of chemistry, chemical technology, medicinal chemistry or biotechnology.
-have comprehension of English language sufficient for reading articles, and if necessary to communicate with other group members.
-demonstrate good operational skills in the organic laboratory.
-demonstrate ability to learn interpretation of spectroscopic data.
-demonstrate good note taking practice.
Two doctoral schloarships
2500 PLN monthly for 36 months
Role in the project: To obtain and optimize the structure of catalysts derived from
synthetic analogues of Cinchona alkaloids, to test them in catalytic transformations,
and to provide initial conclusions, on which design of catalysts will be performed. Her
assignment is also to verify and test the design.
Role in the project. To investigate transformations of mefloquine analogues, to obtain
fluorine and phosphorous-containing products and to perform chiral solvation NMR
experiments. Her assignment is to draw conclusions from the inital experiments and
design and test NMR probes based on 1,2-aminoalcohol derivatives
Requirements:
-hold an undergradueate degree from chemistry or biotechnology
-have joined or applied for Ph.D. level studies in the field of chemistry
-have good control of their written and spoken English language (B2 level or higher)
-be able to describe spectral data according to the journal requirements
-demonstrate impecable note taking practice
-demonstrate very good operational skills in the organic laboratory
